Comment Bingo Round 4

Round 4 of comment_bingo has already started in July, but I was so busy I didn't get around to posting the card yet.

By now I've already filled a few squares, and there are about 6 weeks left, I should be able to make a dent in this card by then. *fingers crossed*

ETA: Done! If i had been just a little less stressed in November, I could have blacked out the card. As it is, I just didn't have the energy to go looking for fic/art, so I am left with six blank squares. And they're spread out in a way that I 'only' have two bingos. :D Still not bad! I'm not unhappy with the result.

I changed the years for the two event squares to 2023, because I can because I just never end up reading old challenge fic, do I? I tried restricting it to 2018 onwards this round, but still it wasn't happening. I do read a lot in new challenges/exchanges, so I changed two squares - one of them gives me a bingo, the other doesn't, but I still did it so I can rec the fic. :D

• #09: a work from an old canon - A Paracosm This Is Not - M*A*S*H / SG-1 crossover [PG for war] - by lapsedpacifist - SG-1 is from 1997, old but not quite old enough to fit, but MASH definitely is and I'm counting it - this amazing fic is about Hawkeye Pierce time-travelling into the SG-1 verse - very funny and serious at the same time - (my comment)

• #01: a canon-compliant work - not a stranger - Under the Skin - Shen Yi & Du Cheng [T] (archive-locked) - one of the few stories I love that can be read as non-shippy/canon-compliant, it expands on the scene in canon where Du Cheng saves Shen Yi from drowning - (my comment)


• #08: a creator I admire - the accountant - Under the Skin - Shen Yi/Du Cheng [E] (archive-locked) - I really admire this author for their visceral style, but I can't say who it is because their fic is archive-locked (my comment)


• #19: a work that made you happy - into the blue - Under The Skin - Shen Yi/Cheng Du [G] by elenothar - this story made me happy because it's one of very few stories in a small fandom, and because it's a romance and elenothar doesn't usually write those, but i love them (and this story) - (my comment)
